Lot of 8 original square photos showing life in Sumter South Carolina during WW2 year 1942. Most of these photos are centered around scenes at Doc Lawson's downtown Sumter drug store. They were taken by an airman who was stationed at Shaw Field South Carolina during 1942.

inches square; the other six measure 2

inches square. All but one photo is ID'ed on the verso. The one that is NOT ID'ed shows the same type of pencil notation as the other 5 smaller ones and it is almost 100% certain that it also shows a Sumter SC street scene as it was mounted on the same album page as the other photos.

Remember that my tiny slips of VIOLET PAPER are not attached to the items. They are put on the scanner bed merely to protect the uniqueness or near uniqueness images so that the high bidder gets an item that has not been copied via someone's computer. These "ebay" slips DO NOT hide any faults or any damage!
